I don't think it is a good idea. The weights could distort the deck while curing. After curing, it would remain that way. The original shape and structure will cause the inner and outer surfaces to compress the resins as they try to keep their original shape and position. Too much resin can force the layers apart (more likely the inner layer will be forced down) so inject the resins slowly.
