I have a "Holder 12" that has been sitting in storage in the hot Bakersfield sun (it's supposed to be 107 today!) for about 15 years.
The fiberglass (I'm assuming) is fuzzed out! I emailed the Hobie store down in San Diego and got the suggestion of sanding off the fuzz then paint or gelcoat it.
Can anyone give me a little more details?
What grit sandpaper? Wet or dry? What kind of paint?
Thanks.

Id think it would be difficult to sand the fibers... Maybe paint (Urethane) then if still rough... sand a bit and paint again. My guess is medium grit 150-200.
