Pass the line into the drum and out the bottom hole.
Looking down on the drum... rotate the drum / jib in a clockwise direction.
Un-furl the jib to fully deploy without rotating the drum.
Pull the line out of the drum and the jib will furl. Pull on the jib clew and the drum will re-wind the line.
Key is the direction that the jib furls. The line needs to enter the drum and go forward and around the hub. If is furls in the wrong direction the line enters the drip and takes a hard right turn. They will cause friction of the line on the drum opening and cut it over time.
