I am wondering if anyone knows how thick the side of the hulls are on the Getaway (I have a 2002 model). My boat broke from its mooring and spend a day or so rubbing against the shoreline. The chaffing against the shoreline created two "scars" on the starboard hull midway up the hull at the point of the mast. One scar is 12" x 4" the other about half of that.

The chaffing shaved about 1 or 2 mm of material over the length of the scars. Do you think the hull is compromised? I am interested in knowing how thick the plastic is at that point so I can gauge how serious this is.

What would be the best way to repair this?

Thank you in advance!
