Is it normal for a mast tang to wear like this? (We've owned the boat for 2 years and sail it at least 3 times a week during the summer.)

As you can see the hole has stretched downward and there is even a small little crack below it.. not sure if its a crack or if they come with this little space below the hole there.

Note it jsut came out of winter storage so that rust shall be gone soon...On a side note we wash our boat after every single sail.

I have never seen one crack.

Any chance this boat spends time on a mooring?

Nope never spent time on a mooring.....it's trailered and washed after every use.

the mast does get rocked around a bit while we're sailing in very light wind and those damn powerboats go by in the bay though.

I think I would replace the tang with the hole elongation headed for the crack. The two are related.
