Any suggestions for repairing the keel ridge on the bottom of the hull? I've tried to be careful dragging it across the sand, using PVC pipes as rollers, but after 13 years of fairly heavy use, I seem to have worn through the outer skin layer and the foam is showing. I don't know if water can make it through the foam, but I'm sure the foam will wear away even more quickly now.
Will G-Flex epoxy stick to the hulls? I've thought about trying to find some PVC L-channel, and then glue it on the bottom using G-Flex.
Has anyone tried anything like this?
Any other suggestions?
I've been away from this forum for quite awhile, so maybe it has been discussed, but I didn't see anything about it in recent years.
