outback stability

Hello everyone i am new to the forum and new to kayak fishing. I've been able to rent a Wilderness ride 135 for the last year to fish.
Really enjoy kayak fishing but I have a bad shoulder so my outings have been limited to 2 to 3 hrs at a time every other week or so. I have come to realize that a hobie would be a great choice for me. Just wondering if anyone has used the ride 135 and an outback to compare the stability between the two. In the ride I can stand and sight fish on calm days, not so much on the windy days.

Any insight/advice would be greatly appreciated

The Outback is stable enough to stand and sight fish on calm days, and you can always add the H-Bar to the Outback to aid stability when standing and sight fishing. When not needed, the H-Bar folds down and out of the way. Part #84500114

I use to sight fish but I think I spooked more fish than I caught. I leaned to read the top of the water when fishing shallow. However the outback is pretty stable. I got a bum shoulder, knee and horrible balance. I still do ok when I try to stand. Love my Hobie Outback.

The Outback is wider and more stable than a Revolution. But if being able to fish while standing up is important to you, consider buying a Pro Angler. You can definitely stand up in them. Standing up in an outback is a bit of a stunt, and a bit risky. The advantages of the Outback are that you can paddle an Outback if necessary, which is a lot less feasible in a Pro Angler, and you can easily carry an outback on top of a vehicle, which is a lot less feasible with a Pro Angler. You'll probably end up buying trailer if you get a Pro Angler.
