My apologies if this has been asked already...I did search, but didn't find anything. I've had this livewell for a while, but due to some illness in the family I've never used it. Went to try it out the other day, and when I plugged the battery in and turned it on I couldn't hear the pump. It seems like it is not turning on, so not sure if it's the switch, the pump, or the battery needs to be replaced.

Anyone have a similar issue and have some pointers?

I've seen some folks have changed the battery, so also interested in those options.

Thanks!

Maybe the battery if you did not charge it. We did have switch issues a few years ago, there is a magnetic "reed switch" that may be faulty. You will have to check battery voltage and then the switch.

I definitely charged it, but can't remember now how long I left the batter on the charger. It's definitely possible that I killed it, but yeah I will find a way to test it.

Thanks for that reference. I bought it in 2018, so was hoping it's not the switch problem. I might call in and see about getting that replacement.
