Hey Karl, I'll take one too.. but I'll take the black sails with the skull and cross bones

I want to check out the FX-1, but getting over to see Jeremy is proving difficult right now.

Hey Karl, why don't you just have HCE drop ship a container at your place full of FX-1's?

Party at Karl's!

See. Look at all the people who want one!

I would like to thank everyone who has had input into this, regardless of whether or not it is what I want to hear. The reality is that there isn't enough of us to make this happen at this point and time. I understand the unfortunate truth that is in front of us. It just means that a different route has to be taken, and by that I mean that myself, Don, and Mike have to build the class. It truely is a tradgedy that no one up until this point has been as excited about this boat as we are. With the death of the H20 & H17 our work will hopefully be easy, so long as we can keep those folks in the Hobie family.

And I take issue with you calling the H-17 dead. It's still the largest class of singlehanded catamaran - for now. :D

There may be more Waves, there are definitely more H-14's, but they're not racing on a regular basis as widespread at the H-17.

According to the class rankings, there were 73 H-17 sailors with 206 regatta attendances.

If I had the money right now I would either buy an FX-1 or an Inter 17. But after seeing the FX-1 in more detail I would have to say it is number 1 in my book.

Karl, don't get it shipped to your place, get it shipped to us, then everybody can just fly out to the event!

Looks like with the interest generated, it may become a very active class. Looks like a cool boat in my books (now, if I were only 60lbs lighter.... )

Paul,
Maybe we should start a Uni-rig Tiger Class with a minimum weight of 250! And a limit of 50# carried to make minimum.

Jockeys need not apply.
