I am attempting to install the A-Frame on my new Hobie Bravo. None of the five bolts/holes seem to line up very well.
Any tips? How much should a try to force, bend or twist the A-Frame so that the bolts go in straighter (and don’t get cross-threaded)?
Thank you for any advice.

You should get all of them started before tightening any. Maybe elongate one in the inner attachment tube?

Thanks Matt!
I took it slow and was gradually able to get each one flat/flush and firmly tight to the point where the bolts were no longer able to turn (completely tight), but it just made me a bit nervous. More “play” would’ve been nice, but maybe it has to be tightly bound like this to handle the load that it must bear...?

Thanks much.
