Stand up rowing

I noticed that lifeguard stations in Italy often have what looks like an orange colored Bravo hull with stand up (forward facing) oarlock configurations. Seems like a nice alternate use of maybe a worn out Bravo rig. You can find pix on the internet, but rarely videos. Look at forward facing rowing in Venice (not the gondola single oars); they go really fast and look less back breaking. The bravo clones usually have a seat (only) ahead of the rower where the victim sits. Search for Italian rescue boat or catamaran pictures if interested.
