my 1989 Mercury 3 HP outboard finally crapped out. Did not sail much due to no outboard a 21 is a hard boat to paddle upwind. Found a 2005 Mercury 3.3 HP in perfect shape for 450 bucks and sold the old outboard for 80 bucks. funny i bought the new one for 425 bucks. A plain old 2 stroke motor is hard to beat for a hobie kicker
