I found a pretty nice se for sale, but the sails are shot. Does anyone know of someone who has a decent set of used sails for sale? I'm looking for a set that will give me about two seasons and not look terrible.

I have a set of original sails that look decent enough.
PM if interested.

Just in case these don't work well for you...if you measure the hoist (boom to top sheave), and boom length, then pretty much any mainsail that will fit inside that triangle can work-don't be afraid. Similarly for jib, measure the forestay length and distance to the cleat, that is the maximum lengths of luff and foot. When you are just starting, any sails that fit "OK" are good starter sails and there are MANY places to get used sails. As a newby you probably don't want to mess too much with stuff that isn't made for the boat, but get used to "making do".

Thanks for the responses. I'll know next week about the boat.

Well, I looked at the boat today. It was not as advertised. Needed more work than I thought, had at least a few hardware pieces missing, a trailer not fit for the road, and a seller I didn't trust. So I walked away. Thank you guys for the responses, but my search continues.
