 Post subject: 21se gudgeon is bad

The transom has gone soft and lower gudgeon has broken the glass. I intend to dry it out, drill holes, inject epoxy, reinforce inside and outside of transom with glass (prob some heavy carbon mat on the inside) and then thru bolt it back together. Should be fun. Does anyone know if the part linked below is compatible? It seems like a sensible step up, esp since I'm fixing the area anyway.

Should be. It is the same lower rudder casting and gudgeon arrangement on the 18 and 21.

Thanks, but I have the orig style to reinstall if necessary. The one piece model looks more solid and better for alignment.
