Hi,

Due to problems with my steering cables I brought my kayak mid May 2017 to my dealer, who after a week sent it to Hobie Netherlands and there it sits now since that time.

I am not getting any information about the status, what is the problem or time of repair.

Only statement I am getting is
- we have main season now

I already called Hobie Netherlands direct, they confirmed the kayak is there, I asked to respond to my mail, no answer.

This is pretty disappointing.

Has anyone had her/his kayak for repairing sent to Hobie and how long did this take ?

I have kayak main season as well ...

Don't really know what their warranty turn around would be. They are a distributor. Of course this is also your kayaking season. I will contact them to see if we can get them any help they require to get this done.

I've contacted Hobie Kayak Holland to try and understand what they're in need of to complete the repair. (you're copied Uwe)

Hi Matt, Jaques,

got your mails in the meantime and I suggest we proceed on mail exchange now, rather than in "public"

Many thx for quick response and I am glad you guys read here as well.

Regards

Uwe
