Took my new I11s out on cape cod bay yesterday. Despite heavy wind, everything worked out pretty well until the trip to the car. While on cart crossing the flats toward mg car, a gust caught my kayak and flipped it over getting sand in every nook and cranny. Despite a good freshwater rinse and wash, I can still feel sand in the rudder control. Before I try anything further, can anyone offer up the process for dismantling, cleaning and possibly lubing my rudder, rudder control and cables? Thanks!
