Does Hobie have any production update news on progress with inflatables and when they may be arriving at dealers?
Thanks - I paid for an ITrek 11 in mid-January so am looking forward to any update news after production problems.

Contact your dealer. They got an update recently.

My dealer originally told me my iTrek Duo (ordered in February) would most likely ship in May, then adjusted to June timeframe based on the latest info from Hobie received in May.

Shortly after this, Hobie changed the main page for the Duo from "Coming in 2021" to "Coming in early 2022".

I contacted the dealer and asked if these were actually moved out that far (no way I'm leaving over $4k sitting on an order for a YEAR!) - and was told they have no idea. They saw the same thing on the Hobie site, and are waiting on an answer.

So, the response "ask your dealer", doesn't hold water. Apparently, dealers aren't getting the information they need either.

The question is fairly simple, and one that Hobie should be able to answer. Are the new inflatables going to start shipping soon (i.e. within 4-6 weeks), or are they more than 6 months out?

The answer will determine whether I ask for a refund or not... but no answer will guarantee I ask for a refund.

Dealerships are getting regular updates. A specific salesperson may not be in the loop.

In the first week of May, as noted on the website, dealers were informed that we have a new "Re"-launch date of Q1 2022.

This is very disappointing for us, dealers, and consumers. Quality issues along with severe production delays have forced our hands.

This discussion helped me because the sole Hobie expert at my dealership expressed much more optimistic expectations a short while ago. Maybe the notice to dealers should be repeated or rephrased. Anyway I now see where the ETA is posted on the product website. Maybe Hobie can use this delay to incorporate a utility socket on iTreks, for bimini or sail.

Have already requested this one! At the minimum a kit to add.

Does Hobie actually have a goal for inflatable order leadtime? I paid a full purchase price for two (2) I Trek 9 in March, 2021 and I am now being told delivery out in June, 2022. I am sorry, but who ever is running Supply Chain needs to consider customer satisfaction! I can't believe Hobie is forced to pay 140% of their Cost of Goods fifteen months ahead of scheduled delivery!

My understanding is a Spring 2022 re-introduction when we have inventory.

It has now been over 12 months since I have ordered and paid a $2,199 for two iTrek 9's from Hobie listed dealer. I know standard response will be to contact dealer but they still can't even give me a SHIP date from Hobie. Is there truly something reallly wrong with the iTrek 9 and should I be considering another model.

For example what are Hobie lead-times for product deliveries for iTrek 11 or Mirage Passport 10.5 from thier suppliers after receipt of orders.
