I live about 23 miles West of Philadelphia and my main venue currently is a state park called Marsh Creek.

Nice spot - 30 minutes away, and it's number of acres of water seems to be below some sort of legal mandate for motor boats, so it's quiet and mellow.

I've also been down to Pleasantville NJ - Lakes Bay, launching at the Comfort Inn with beach wheels.

Was up to Nokamixon once when QuattroGuy was kind enough to take me for a ride in his TI.

Checking iWindsurf's charts the last few days, I come away thinking that Nokamixon consistantly gets more wind than Marsh Creek.

So....The Question:

What are your favored sailing venues in the Philadelphia PA area?

We sail in the Great Egg Harbor bay. We sail out of our dock in Ocean City, but I think there are places to launch in Somers Point (Kennedy Park?) and from the Longport Bridge causeway.
