Has anyone seen the new Tandem yet...(Boat Show, etc.)...what was your
opinion?
The Minneapolis Boat Show will be occurring this next week...Yay!
If all goes well, a Hobie Rep will be displaying his 'Boat Show' Tandem. No other
Tandem will be shown up here until Late Spring. So this is my only chance
to look at it before getting my own unit.

If you have seen it (Show or photos), are there any features I should pay special
attention to? Any design weaknesses I should look for?
I have downloaded every Tandem photo I could find in and out of this forum and
printed out whatever limited reviews I have been able to find.

What we need is some videos of the tandem sailing.

Roadrunner needs to convince Hobie to let him sail and review the tandem.
List all the features and describe setup and performance :!: :D

Nothing sells boats better and generates as much interest & discussion as one of Roadrunner's wonderful reviews. I'm sure Hobie appreciates his efforts and maybe will get him a boat to try very soon.

Whoever checks it out, could they take a tape measure. I need to know how many cars I need to kick out of the garage so that I can fit in the tandem. Has it got a name yet ? 'Tandem' is pretty lame.

Thanks guys! I'm ready whenever you are Hobie! Just let me know when and where I can visit the new "TI". The tape measure, bathroom scale and camera are already packed! Just looking at the innovative details, it promises to be an exciting boat. I'm also very interested in the prospect of seeing how it runs solo as well as tandem! Our tandem Oasis makes an excellent solo boat and think this will be even better. 8)

Went to Austin Boat Show.
Saw it, put down payment on one.
It is so much bigger than my Tandem Outfitter.
I believe its official length is 18'6". 6 feet longer than the Outfitter.
I took some pictures of it at the show, maybe I should post a few of them?
