Hi Brad,
I hope you're enjoying your TI!
At this time of the year my favourite pants are those with the inbuilt socks. I've been using Peak Uk Storm paddling pants for a few years now and highly recommend them. Only problem is they are over $300 delivered. They are not Goretex but I haven't noticed much of a difference in breath ability between them and Goretex pants in the cooler, less humid months. I have a few different pairs of Goretex pants but none have inbuilt socks. I wish someone did a lighter weight Goretex pant with in built socks! There is a big gap in the market.
Recently I got some run out SLH dry pants V1 for $149. They are a bit thicker and less comfy but are great value. Their V2 pants are improved and only $180, so still good value:

Pity they don't come in "holy crap have a look at that fat ass" size!

Hi Stringy

I love the TI. Unfortunately a combination of incomplete renovation and aged parent issues has limited my sailing time. I'm hoping this is going to improve.

These SLH V2 pants look pretty much what I had in mind and are about what I wanted to spend :-)

Hi Tony

I was wondering about size. I presume you need them to be big enough to wear trackies or thermals underneath? On a different note, I just booked a holiday unit up your way for a week in October. Closer to the time I'll PM you to see if your around.

The SLH V2 pants are lighter material, more like kokotats.
