Agree, broken TI mast are rare (but do happen).
The TI mast is tough.
I have sailed my TIs in plenty of rough coastal / offshore conditions but thankfully never snapped the mast. Did snap the bolt at the bottom of the mast receiver (older TI with the smaller 1/4" bolt)....sailing downwind in 10-15 mph winds.... accumulation of wear and tear over many sails....till the bolt failed. Now part of my annual inspection and swap out maintenance plan.
Recommend searching this forum for bit more background on this subject.
Given the age of your TI, should be a candidate for a warranty replacement. Recommend a discussion with your dealer.
The mast does come in two parts. Perhaps you can swap out the bottom section.
