You will soon be elated at your new investment into yourselves. Remember your PA will become part of you, it's something that you wish you would have bought years ago. Don't believe any of the hype out there, this boat kicks ass...it's sooo much more than a kayak. With some of the mods found here you can tailor make your craft a fishing machine. Once out on the water say hello to the fishes for me, because there will be lots of fish coming over the rails. Live it up boys, you made a move in the right direction!!!!

Congrats. I hope to add a PA to the arsenal at some point in the next couple of years.

I am also waiting on the "tax man". I figure no later than the 2nd week of March. Since I have a little time I went ahead and bought a Humminbird 597ci HD di. I want to mount the ff on the guide rails and went to the YakAttack website to buy the geartrac. I figured no more than the 8 inch for the ff. My question is what else goes with it? Is there some other mount that the geartrac screws into and what size ball do I need? I am a nubee to yakking and could use a bit of advise. I am also buying the mad frog libertator. When I get the PA I don't want to have to wait more than a day or two to get it out on the water!! :?

Hey kitkatyak,
There are many ways to mount your FF on Gear trac. Here's how I did mine with the gear Trac.
