Hello,

I have purchased a Hobie 20 Formula (only made for the European market I guess).
The mainsail and jib are pretty worn out, new or used sails are nowhere to get.
I like to know if sails from other Hobies (Miracle, Fox, 21) ore Nacra Inter 20 can be fitted on this Hobie

Hi Milco,
I think you would be much happier if you order replacement sails from a reputable sail maker. I had a set made for my Hobie 21SE by Chip at Whirlwind sails and they are fantastic. There are many lofts that can reproduce the proper sails for that boat.

Looking at photos of the hobie 20 formula it appears that it uses the same mast extrusion and boom as the Miracle, you may want to look at a Miracle to confirm. If so measure your current sails and compare them to the hobie 20 miracle.

Would buy another if Hobie would build it.

Have you tried asking a Hobie dealer if they Hobie factory sail loft can build one for you?

You have to ask a European dealer... This boat was only made in France. Not the Miracle 20.
