I have been giving a Hobie catamaran on a trailer that is in very rough condition I'm having a hard time figuring out what exactly it is however the hull numbers are CCMHO338M78A-R any help would be much appreciated

I have purchased a hobie cat. There is a 16 on the sail, so I assume a hobie 16? Can someone confirm?
Also, can someone tell me what year it is? or is there a tag somewhere on the boat that indicates the year?
