Best person to ask IMHO is CentralMichiganSailor. He did a beyoooootiful job on his old H18.....he used wide strips, diagonally, from the deck, across the joint, down the hull and up the other side, across the other joint, and up to the deck again. Nothing like a full wrap system.
I can't recall, each strip may have been 12" wide. What I do remember is that the two strips formed an "X", with the centre right at the centre of the front cross bar.
Caleb, did you take pictures of that sort of stuff in those days?
Mike, as I understand it, the key is to take the boat apart, and work with the hulls inverted so you can make certain that the hull/deck joint is properly glassed. (No air entrapped). For more working room, remove the port hole fitting....carefully.
