Could not buy what I wanted so I built my own hinged bracket system for the Torqeedo. It was a project of love and ambition. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I went all out on this one. No expense or time or Engineering efforts were spared.
My design requirements which were met were;
High quality. Must look like OEM. Corrosion proof. Motor must be able to be raised or lowered from the seating position by one cord. Motor must fold back so no part of the system sticks out past the handle. System must not intrude on any useable Kayak work space. Drill no holes. Fully reversible. Motor swing arm to be quickly removable (unscrew 3 screws from the topside). System should be such that trolleys or trailer can still be used. Looks stealth like. Rubber vibration absorber.
Materials;
No expense spared here.
Stainless Steel bracket, laser cut, sandblasted and powder coated.
Alodined Aluminium, Powder coated.
316 Stainless Steel screws.
316 Stainless Steel eye bolt.
Corrosion proof hinge.
Hope you like the pics!

How goes it? Brilliant!
In fact it makes the steering control from the rudder much better. Although the steering has a bigger turn radius, the Kayak tracks very straight so its possible to go hands free on the steering. You can also pedal at the same time to turn a bit tighter. If you pedal slowly and have the power low you can travel something like 100 kms on a single battery, although somewhat slow.
If the battery goes you can still get home under pedal power and you dont have to mess about on the water swapping motor to pedal power etc.
Thats all for now.
