Just picked up a holder 12 for my kids and it needs a boom. Any thoughts on where to get one OR can I use one from a a more readily available boat?
Thank you..

A Laser boom would probably be your best bet. I don't know the specifics on the boom lengths, but the laser is a longer boat with more sail area, so if anything, it would probably be longer than you need and could be trimmed down to length. The gooseneck system is the same for both boats, a pin on the mast which engages a hole in the end of the boom. The only issue might be the pin/hole diameters may not be the same for bob boats and could require some customization.
