I was not able to figure out how to separate the tramp from the hull - seems glued on extra tight. So I put the cleats on the outside of the hull where there are screw holes (for a back rest?) and that works. I agree the lines get tangled on the mast 100% of the time. I will try your bungee cord trick. But honestly, the jib is so small, it is not doing much for me.
