The Maximum Capacities sticker on my current PA 14 lists 400 watt motor. Is there an electric motor rating on the PA 14 360, since the current Evolve is not able to mount into the drive well?
What I really want to do is replace my MD 180 PA 14 with a PA 14 360, and mount a Torqeedo Ultralight 1103 AC. For me, 1100 watts, 3 hp, or 55 lbs thrust capacity would be ideal.

Why does Hobie list the max at 400 watts ......... everybody that I’m aware of lists this as #’s thrust or hp? Hobie has good products but they really fo some stupid stuff. This really needs to be changed because the industry is changing with the new Torqeedo engine coming out. It has been successfully tested on a lot of different yaks including Hobie yaks with no problems.
