paddle and
pedal often used out of context on this forum. I'm not picking on the OP, I'm just showing the proper usage for each word.
peddle: (
verb) : to travel about with wares for sale; broadly : sell
peddler: (
noun) one who offers merchandise (as fresh produce) for sale along the street or from door to door
pedal: (
noun) a foot lever or treadle by which a part is activated in a mechanism
pedal: (
verb) to use or work a pedal
paddle: (
noun) a usually wooden implement that has a long handle and a broad flattened blade and that is used to propel and steer a small craft (as a canoe)
paddle: (
verb) to go on or through water by or as if by means of a paddle or paddle wheel
