Did you drill yours out for the side stay line?
Not sure what you're asking? I drilled out by bridle tangs to accept the spin pole bridles if that's what you mean? The only downfall of the spin in my case is the additional setup time. I am forced to trailer my boat where ever I go so unless I can find a place to spend a few days that will also allow me to keep my boat on the beach (harder than you think here in CA), a good portion of my sailing day is setup and take down. I find little ways to speed up the spin setup everytime I go out.
As I mentioned in my original post, I purchsed the spin and hardware from Jeremy. Fortunately for me, I live about 4 hours away from his shop so I dragged my boat up to Santa Cruz as he offered to help me out with the install since I didn't have a clue! Fairly simple once you get it down as you know. He had a custom cut spin made to fit my boat. Not cheap and I will probably only get a fraction of return when and if I ever sell the boat but hey, how can you put a price on the thrill and excitement of flying a spinaker!
