There is a Red cloth bieng used on the WildCat. It's different in very few ways but it is pentex and F-18 legal cloth.

I can check availability probably tuesday. What do you want sails for? or do you just want the cloth?

I would have Chip order it if he can for a main sail. The cloth alone is no good to me. I asked him once about this cloth and he said it was custom made and unavailable.

1988 Magnum with Whirlwind Pentax square top main and jib. Spinaker purchased from Jeremy at Surf City Catamaran's. Love the setup!

Nice! I hear nothing but good things about Jeremys' spin systems. I need to get some pole bridles from him, my dyneema will slip at the worst possible times. I really like the new tiger snuffer hoop and bag. Did you drill yours out for the side stay line?

busted my comptip in the ocean springs, ms slip to ship race....

anyone got a comptip for cheap?

just got new rigging for my SX... and a new SX mainsail.... so although it's easy to just pickup a standard H18 mast... that would render my sail and rigging useless....

anyone got a comptip?

Cheers,
Rob.

The comptip is the same for the SX and the Standard 18. Maybe you can get a comptip off a used mast.

Not sure what you're asking? I drilled out by bridle tangs to accept the spin pole bridles if that's what you mean? The only downfall of the spin in my case is the additional setup time. I am forced to trailer my boat where ever I go so unless I can find a place to spend a few days that will also allow me to keep my boat on the beach (harder than you think here in CA), a good portion of my sailing day is setup and take down. I find little ways to speed up the spin setup everytime I go out.

As I mentioned in my original post, I purchsed the spin and hardware from Jeremy. Fortunately for me, I live about 4 hours away from his shop so I dragged my boat up to Santa Cruz as he offered to help me out with the install since I didn't have a clue! Fairly simple once you get it down as you know. He had a custom cut spin made to fit my boat. Not cheap and I will probably only get a fraction of return when and if I ever sell the boat but hey, how can you put a price on the thrill and excitement of flying a spinaker! :D

I'm talking about the line from the snuffer head to keep it from lifting when hoisting. I ran through the groove in the head but I think most guys drill the head and run it that way.
