By popular request here is the GoPro mount I made. It was constructed using a 2in x 1/8th in piece of aluminum. At one end it it the full 2in height and is secured to my wind vane with 2 bolts on one side and 1 bolt on the other. I created a second small piece so it sandwiches each side of the neck of the wind vane. I had it extend a few inches back to allow clearance for me expanded battery pack and back door floaty. To secure the gopro I used the straight adapter that came with the expanded battery. I bolted that to the aluminum which fit perfectly between the 2 prong side of the adapter.

Looks good, and simple enough that I could see myself making one too. How does it do? Do you feel like the GoPro affects the windvane at all? The GoPro would be downwind of the TeloCat, and pretty small, but they're a little blocky. And does the extra weight pull down on the TeloCat so the ring is jammed on the holder? Or does it still hold pretty well? And how are the videos? Can you post some footage?

I just saw your previous post (Breakpoint) where you showed some pictures of you sailing, and I'm guessing those came from your GoPro. They look good. I was wondering if the mast was going to dominate the picture, but it doesn't at all. Nice work!
