Hey everyone my name is Daniel and I just bought my first Hobie Turbo. It is pretty exciting and I am looking forward to becoming a great sailor. It has been a while since I have sailed but If anyone is ever San Marcos, TX and wants to help me out that would be cool.

There's two regattas near you for each of the next two weekends. 24-25 April is the Holiday-In-Dixie Regatta in Shreveport. 1-2 May is Fleet 23's Leukemia Cup regatta, a sanctioned Hobie points regatta. Are you going to either? I'll be at both. Click my profile and shoot an e-mail if you'd like information about either.

I eventually hope to start doing some regattas with some of my friends but fot the time being I will just be getting re aquainted with sailing a catamaran. For the future though where do you look to find out about regattas? and are they open to anyone?
