I am located in Northern Michigan, its still cold up here. I purchased a 16 ft hobie that needs some TLC. its at this guys house on the beach, it down a 70 foot ciff , accesable only by stairways. I need to get the boat back home to work on it> Should i wait and get it towed to a boat launch on put it on a trailer, or disasemble the boat and carry it up the stairs? It only needs to go to miles by water on Lake Huron. It could be sailed but I would like to get it home and thoughly check it out first! thanks

i would check the hulls and make sure they are water tight, if she floats i would tow it and put it on a trailer, much easyer and quicker, plus taking it apart completely to get it up a 70 foot cliff would be less then enjoyable!
Just my 2 cents!

the boat would be easy to take apart... if it wasn't glued together... but the hulls are really awkward to carry... i would say tow it...
