The stay broke on me last summer at the end of the season so I just put it away; how long is the stay so I don't have to buy two new ones. I know this sounds extremely cheap and stuff but yeah.

Impossible to say how long yours was... they vary over the years. Shorter and shorter to current. Measure the good one?

It is extremely cheap - you should always replace them in pairs unless they are relatively new to begin with. If one broke last year, how long do you think it's going to be before the other one breaks?
