My first sail boat, '78 H16, will hopefully be ready for the water this weekend and a few weeks of refurb! I just learned to sail last summer and have never rigged an H16. Anybody in the area want to help me out or at the very least shout at me when I'm way off?

There will be beer, food and sailing (hopefully) involved.

I am in burlington and would love to help you out with your H16. I just went for the first sail of the season last night in Malletts Bay. Let me know what I can do for you!

Awesome, thanks Willem!
The boat is up in Georgia right now. I'm hopefully changing out the side rail and putting on a new trampoline this weekend. Next week I should have the hitch put on my car, then I can get it down to Charlotte. Unless you want to trek up to Gerogia with me on Saturday, I'll get in touch when I get the boat to Charlotte.

I'm in Charlotte, email me divimon2000 at gmail dot com when you're going to set up. We have a 17, 18 and Prindle 19 all refurbed or in process. Where abouts?
Steve

Hey Gang, I am about 20 min' south of Rutland & very familiar with Champlain. Haven't sailed there though. Just fished a lot. I have a H16 and would love to come up and tear it up with you folks. Was out on Bomoseen yesterday hangin' it out on the wire. The perfect day for soloing. Email me if you'd like: [email protected]

Willem et al, great idea. Maybe we should set up the "club" on the social site HCspace.ning.com There is no action up here in VT as far as I can see. If you set it up, I can host it. I have a ramp and lots o' grass. We have 3 boats to start with plus Joe next door. I think I can handle another 5 boats. Steve
