well, even though first place may be wrapped up ... there's still hope for second, right ? Whats the prize for that - a broken rudder pin ?

Was a wonderful day (6 hrs) out on Long Island Sound - not a great sailing day as the winds were light, but a good chance to try my hand at Sail-Fishing trolling a line for Blue Fish or Striped Bass. Only had one serious encounter where something bit my 5" rubber lure in half missing the hook by a fraction of an inch.

... was treated to a beautiful Hobie sunset whilst packing up and thought I'd share

How about if the 19th midnight is the final submition date for entries, then, over the next 2 weeks we all vote on the 3 best photos giving 3 points for your favorite shot, 2 for 2nd, and 1 for 3rd. Those were taken in Shell Creek right behind our house. The dock under the moon is my neighbor's dock, located next to our communal boat ramp under the power line.

Yes, the power line is high enough to sail under!
