Are there any videos or pictures which describe in detail how to rig the blocks for the main sheet??

Thanks,

Scott

Yes, you can download the H16 manual here at the main Hobie web site which has an illustration of a 6:1 block. Or you can go to the Harken web site and search "reeving diagrams" where you will find two 6:1 diagrams, one with the becket on the main block and another with the becket on the cam cleat.

The way I did it. Set the upper block on the ground, and the lower block just under it as it would be on the boat. Label the three sheaves on each block 1-2-3. U stands for upper and L stands for lower block, be consistent l-r or r-l just make sure you number the sheaves the same way for the lower and upper block. Take one end of the sheet send it through the fairlead-L2-U1-L1-U3-L3-U2 and tie a it too the becket. Last but not least make sure when to twist the 2 blocks 90 degrees from each other when installing. Hope this makes some sort of sense, and that it is correct.

Best

Here's a diagram that I found after doing a Google search. I keep a copy that is laminated in plastic in my toolbox just in case for those WTF moments. Hope it helps.
