 Post subject: Rudders

On my hobie 16 the rudders will not lock down. I checked the cams and they are not broken but they do not rotate. I'm not sure if the cams are suppose to rotate? Can anyone help?

Yes they should rotate. Yours are likely locked down. Look at the base of the cam in the casting. There is a plunger that is spring loaded. Force the plunger down with a small blade screw driver to release the cam. Lubricate with some heavy grease.
