I bought a used Hobie that has a mast stepper system. I do not have the foot component. A manual or ideas about replacing foot would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe

I have instructions for the EZ Step. Is that what you need? If so, send a note to jv1234_99 <at> yahoo <dot> com.

I put the pin in, then lift the mast base to the up position. Step the mast (will pop into up position violently if you didn't already set it). Next, step the mast carefully lowering the ball into socket as you do this. If you step the mast too far, without lowering the ball into socket first, you will break the rivets in bottom of mast and bend the bolt in the little ez stepper thing. Kind of a pita to replace the rivets so be careful. My 140lb friend broke my mast w/out much effort...
