where i'll be storing my new boat the best way to get the boat into the water is via a hoist on the dock, i dont want to spend a whole day and waste a lot of rope so,
Ideas anyone?

I see that no one wants to weight in on this one, humm I wonder why. I guess the logical place to lift the boat would be one line from each corner where the tramp joins the hull?? The boat is not all that heavy, would you be lifting the boat fully rigged and ready to sail? If yes you would need a very tall crane depending how far up you have to lift. The motor boat guys have a ramp they park on then the entire ramp is raised up with a large wheel (or electric in some cases). Maybe you could get some aluminum 1" pipe and fabricate something like that. I just have a 6, 6ft. long pipes with Polly rollers and some rubber roller guides, but I only have to come out of the water about 8" or so.

we would lift it not rigged, but mast up, only about 4-5 inches and then down 10 feet to the water. I think that the tidal difference is to much for a fixed roller platform, otherwise it would be perfect
Thanks
