Hi! I was just wondering the same thing... I was looking for a good place to launch from and spend a day sailing on the lake. If you find anything, let me know...

ftlauderdale16, Hi I'm jeff we both joined cat44 on lauderdale beach the same day last month. I have the old H16, yellow blue red blue yellow sail. Havent seen you back out there since. Although the weather hasnt been too great and the boat show screwed up parking last weekend. But anyway, was wondering if the aligators would be a factor in the glades. If you dumped the boat over, you sure would be in high gear to get it back up! I have been to the boat ramp in or near Pahokee (I think thats how you spell it). It could be put in there. Havent been to the other side.

Hi Jeff,

How are you? I hope all is well. I don't have my boat, so thats why I haven't been on the beach. I had to return it as it has stress fractures on the rails... They are are still deciding what to do, but they will most likely replace the hulls for me. I'm hoping that all will be resolved for this weekends races! Regardless, I'll be on the beach on Sunday. If my boats not ready I'll be looking to crew...

I was looking at Google Maps and saw that Pahokee looked like a good place to launch from... I think it would be a lot of fun to sail on the lake - as for the gators, I guess the idea is not to stuff it!
