Lake Michigan is a big place, can you pin down your location a little bit? :)

Capt. McCrary,
I like to sail out of Weko Beach, let's plan a Lake Michigan sailing party this summer.Somewhere of the south east end of the lake is an easier drive for me,but I am opened to any good beach location within a reasonable drive.
Let hear from our Michigan Hobie sailors..... :)
Good day,Bill 404 21SE

This may be slightly off topic but maybe not....

I'll be finishing this May with my MS Civil Engineering degree (geotech / pavement materials). I'm trying very hard to move to warmer waters in Southern California to continue my passion of sailing!

Anyone know any civil engineers that can help me find a job in the Southern California area? I've obtained my EIT and also passed the PE exam well. I figure I might as well put it out there! Please e-mail me and I can respond with a copy of my resume and references. My e-mail is [email protected].

Thanks :D

I sail from Lake St. in Gary. They have the perfect ramp for launching cat boats. Its just a simple asphalt ramp into the lake with beach on both sides of it. Slide your boat off the trailer, and push it about 20 feet onto the beach. Let me know if you get anything going when all the damned ice melts!
