@AlohaDan,

With a house, pool and view like that, I don't think I'd bother with kayaking :-)

Very nice...

Mike.

The "Pelagic" is also the type of sturdy expedition boat for folks who want to "forage" flora and fauna as part of their outdoor experience wherever they go. More stability, more cargo capacity, better on-water access, etcetera. Pedalling, paddling, and sailing as redundant means of propulsion. Fishing, diving, hunting, clamming, crabbing, multi-day journeying, etcetera.

Give us an outdoorperson's boat with more muscle.

Hi Don

Mahalo for your comments.

Think also of the ability to change out a streamlined hatch cover for a "Bubble" (curved one) to handle bulky loads. Another option for Hobie to sell, more $$ for them.

I'm sure you have seen large loads packed atop the tank well. I've seen pics of even ocean SOTs with huge wilderness loads piled on top. All susceptible to wave action, and with high CG's.

Get the stuff inside and lower!

Thanks, guys!

It has been a bumpy road. Circumstances sadly required getting the cat adopted but I still see him and will pass on your regards.
