You better stay visible! As good as you can.
greetings from Sweden, thomas
Amen!! Luckily, night collisions between kayak and motorized boats are RARE. I had a close call of being run over by a motor boat during the day, and there were 4 people on the boat. Everyone had their attention on a group of fish while the boat veered my way while no one was steering it. It took several whistles to catch someone's attention.
If motor boaters can not see you during the day, how much more blind are they to you during the dark? Yup Kal-P-Dal, stay as visible as you can and know before hand what you will do in dangerous situations, like a boat coming your way in the dark...
Greets to Sweden from USA.
