So, between reading tuning tips on mast raking and on here, I know that I'll get more mast rake with the new shrouds I just bought, they are about 3 inches longer than the older one.
My boat is apart and I'm not ready to put it together yet, I was just with wondering if with the new shorter shrouds, if I will be forced to do something with my double-stack old seaway main sheet block?
I've seen the poor man's way to convert the old Seaway block to a short block
http://www.catsail.com/archives/v2-i8/tip57.htmWill I need to do that for weekend family sailing? I do like to go fast with friends, but take it easy with family on board.
