Sail Colors!

My father knows how to sail and loves it. Out of his four sons and one daughter who are all married now with children, I am the only one who understood his passion. What a crime.

I've got the 1990 Formula 1. The author of the article called it ill fated. I think it's pretty cool and I've never seen another one like it.

Hello Boys, I posted from Italy, I had two hobie cat 16 with "Boomer" Sail Color.
First dated 1984 serial no. 76400 and second one bought in 2005 serial no. 108945.

I have (I think) 84 Nationals Yellow sails on a 1986 boat (yellow hulls and yellow tramp....Mongo LIKE yellow!

I have #40 79 nationals blue sails that are in very good condititon except from the original owners advertisement that was glued to them. The only frustrating part about it is that when i bought the boat i was told the sails were original to the boat. The hulls are 86 model year. I recognize that this is not a problem, but it would have been nice to know. It could have been an honest mistake, but I would have never known had I not read this post.

I have "Blue Hawaii" #67 from 1983 with sail number 78346 over white hulls and a black mesh tramp.

#78) Tsunami '84 Nationals matching main and jib #83993 on '84 H16 & #45472 on '83 H14T with royal blue jib. Got both boats separately and it is by pure coincidence that they have the same sail colors.

Complete newbie here to Hobies, although a long time sailor. I just purchased a '79 Tequila Sunrise with blue hulls...well let's be honest, the hulls used to be blue and the sails used to be Tequila Sunrise. 30 years of sun have not improved the colors any, but I nearly stole the boat, and know how to run a buffer. I suppose then they still sell sails.

somehow my '85 hobie had a 'flamer' main sail with it when purchased last spring ..

All white sails for me! Maybe sometime down the road I'll pick up something flashy, but I don't need to stand out while I'm still a rookie.

I have a '73 that I put tequila sunrise sails on. I'm ready to paint today or tommarrow, when the weather breaks .... then I have yellow hulls w/ ts sails....
