Matt miller, Thanks for the info on telltale placement on the H18 main. Just for clarificatoin: The illustration shows an insert placing tales at the leech of the sail....is this placement in addition to those on the middle of the sail or just an optional placement? thanks.....DJ

Leech tails are my most important indicators. They are in addition to the ones in the body of the sail, which are best for rough adjustments. The leech tails do the fine adjustments. Will indicate under or over sheeting. Under sheeting shows with the leech tails flowing strait aft. Over sheeting will cause the tells to hook back around to the back side of the sail. Best when dancing a bit of both aft and occasionally hooking.
