I have searched all over for an answer with no(NO) results. I can't find anything in Hobie or Murray catalogs. I can't find anything decent on Ebay. I am frustrated by this. :|
I am restoring a 1980 Hobie 16 and the decorative stripes on the hulls are in bad shape. Please somebody give me a clue or two on how to proceed. Pin stripe tape? Paint over the old stripes? Thanks a bunch, rip :)

You can get 3/16" silver stripes through your nearest dealer. Unfortunately, we don't have stripe decals that will match older models.

Check with Steve at Strictly Sail in Cincinnati,I was there last week and he had two rolls hanging on the wall for sale. They may be old but look in good shape.

Try vinyl lettering companys, most also sell a variety of pin stripe material.

Or just have them make what you want. Vinyl is dirt cheap.

Thanks Guys, I have an email in to a vinyl company that appears to sell bulk vinyl for reasonable price, and I will call Strictly Sail in Cincinnati as soon as 9 am gets here! :D
